The Fog of War
THE FOG OF WAR - The second nominee for Best Documentary

Berman, Pulcini, Pitt, and Aniston all exit. DiBergi takes over at the podium again.

          DIBERGI
Very nice. Thank you. Next we have Michael Moore, last year's winner of the Best Documentary AFFA, to tell us something about THE FOG OF WAR.

MICHAEL MOORE, wearing an ugly windbreaker and a baseball hat, waddles determinedly onto the stage. He removes the windbreaker to reveal a ratty tux.

Michael Moore smiles at the AFFA crowd before launching into his diatribe.

     (obviously reading cue cards)
Errol Morris constructs THE FOG OF WAR around a lengthy interview with former Secretary of Defense for John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, Robert S. McNamara. Now in his eighties, McNamara explores his upbringing, his involvement in World War II, and his role in the controversial decisions—

—that led to the deaths of thousands of American soldiers and innocent civilians in Vietnam !!! And the massive government conspiracy that fed you that war is feeding you another one today!!!

Security interrupts Moore by hauling him offstage.

          MOORE (CON'T)
We have a president in office who, without the consent of the American people, sends Americans to die in Iraq for the sake of the almighty dollar! We cannot stand by while—

DiBergi returns as Moore vanishes from view.

          DIBERGI
Heh, heh. I guess we should have foreseen that one. Sorry. Now, we have Nick Broomfield to say something about SPELLBOUND.
